       On 10th March 2023 The Indian Chamber of Commerce in Korea (ICCK) held its Annual General Meeting at Intercontinental Seoul Coex, Gangnam. The event began with Opening Remarks by Mr. Anil Sinha, Chairman of ICCK and COO & Vice President of Tata Daewoo Commercial Vehicles, and Special Remarks by H.E. Mr. Amit Kumar, Ambassador of India to ROK and Chief Patron of ICCK. Mr. Anil Sinha gave a glimpse of the last year’s chamber activities and events and encouraged the member companies to join for the upcoming events. He also mentioned two important topics, first the 50th year of the diplomatic relationship between India and Korea this year, and secondly, India got the chairmanship of the 18th G20 Heads of State and Government Summit which will take place from 9th~10th September 2023 in New Delhi, India. H.E. Mr. Amit Kumar briefed about India and Korea’s wide Special Strategic Partnership and mentioned India’s rapid growth and becoming the world’s third largest economy before the end of this decade. He also focused on startups in India becoming unicorns and this has happened in the past three years and which is a remarkable transformation in India. ICCK Team also presented the 2022 Chamber Highlights which included chamber activities, events, financial reports, and plans for the current year.
