[ICCK x Nexdigm] Webinar - "Driving Tomorrow - Exploring Investment in India's Key Markets Today”

The Indian Chamber of Commerce in Korea (ICCK) in collaboration with its member company Nexdigm, a leading international professional business and consulting group, held an interactive webinar – “Driving Tomorrow - Exploring Investment in India's Key Markets Today” on the 29th of February.

The webinar was headed by Mr. Mark Kennedy,  Head of Nexdigm Japan.
The event commenced with the welcome address from Mr. Nishi Kant Singh, Deputy Chief of Mission, Embassy of India to ROK,  who encouraged the participants to join and flourish in the Indian market along with stating that the best time to join the journey with India is right now. It was followed by a Special Address by Mr. Anil Sinha, Chairman of ICCK, welcoming the audience and stating the current statistical figures in support of the SMEs entering the Indian market.

The conduction of the webinar was then led by our main speaker Mr. Kennedy, in which he stated all the current market situations and opportunities in the three major sectors - Automobiles, Healthcare and Electronic. One of the webinar’s focal point was why India should be considered as the investment destination, mentioning Govt. of India’s strong encouragement on FDI inflows, subsidies and tax incentives provided by the govt of india on multiple govt levels (state as well as central level) as well as a strict Intellectual property rights and a very welcoming and established startup ecosystem. They also focused on the incentives and initiatives the Govt. of India has taken in order to attract foreign SMEs and international businesses, mainly Make in India, Digital India as well as the PLI scheme (Product Linked Incentives) which is a performance-linked incentive to give companies incentives on incremental sales from products manufactured in domestic units.

Following the information filled session, Nexdigm also went above and beyond to introduce the company and how the company can provide a 360 degree support to the businesses that are willing to invest and enter the Indian market. The company has a global presence and 6 decades worth of experience that helped foreign companies to settle their businesses in India. The company has specialization in not only helping the businesses to establish their operations in India but also identifying and providing aid for negotiating the incentives to their clients on multiple government levels so they can reap the maximum benefits from the already existing initiatives.
