
The Indian Chamber of Commerce in Korea (ICCK) attended a ceremony to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Korea-India diplomatic relations held at the Indian Embassy in Korea on December 14, 2023.
The event was attended by H. E Amit Kumar, India's ambassador to Republic of Korea, H. E Chung Byoung Won, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Mr. Shin Bong-gil, former Korean ambassador to India. Ambassador H. E Amit Kumar said in a speech that the two countries will discuss political, security and strategic issues, economic and commercial links, energy, infrastructure, technology, startup innovation, We emphasized the importance of this important event as we continue to expand cooperation between the two countries, including university partnerships, media, culture, tourism, and human exchanges. It expressed its intention to further solidify, deepen and develop the India-Korea Special Strategic Partnership.
Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs H. E Chung Byoung Won stressed that the two countries have developed special strategic partnerships in areas such as supply chain, defense industry, high-tech and people-to-people exchanges. He said he hopes the two countries will continue to expand and strengthen their multilateral partnership based on the common values of democracy and the rule of law.
