[Event] The Indian Chamber of Commerce in Korea (ICCK), with the support of the Embassy of India in Seoul, proudly hosted the 'ICCK Diwali Ball 2024 – Festival of Celebration' on November 8th, 2024, at the Grand Ballroom, InterContinental Seoul Parnas. The distinguished Chief Guests of the evening were H.E. Mr. Amit Kumar, Ambassador of India to the Republic of Korea, and Mr. Ramesh Iyer, Chairman of ICCK.
This signature event brought together prominent industry leaders, members of diplomatic missions, and their families and friends to celebrate Diwali, the most significant festival for ICCK. The evening commenced with a warm welcome from the MC Nidhi Agrawal, who provided an insightful introduction to the cultural significance of Diwali. This was followed by an inspiring welcome address by Mr. Ramesh Iyer. H.E. Mr. Amit Kumar then raised a celebratory toast, honoring the enduring friendship between India and South Korea. The ICCK Board of Governors also took to the stage to personally greet the esteemed guests.
Guests were treated to an evening filled with rich Indian culture and cuisine, including a delectable spread of authentic Indian dishes. The event featured captivating performances, showcasing the diversity of Indian art forms like Odissi, Kathak, folk dances, and instrumental performances on the sitar, tabla, and harmonium. Adding a modern twist, a K-pop performance by hashtag#Blackswan and an energetic Taekwondo demonstration by hashtag#Takeonewave further delighted the audience.
The excitement continued with raffles, featuring Grand & Super Prizes, a Silent Auction, and a variety of other gifts generously provided by our sponsors. The night concluded with vibrant networking, refreshing drinks, and dancing to the lively beats of Bollywood hits spun by DJ Fenner.
