KINTEX(Korea International Exhibition Center) is Korea’s largest and newest international exhibition and convention venue as well as a joint investment among KOTRA, Gyeonggi provincial government and Goyang city, which was purpose-built to resolve the issues of event space shortage in Korea and to internationalize Korea’s exhibition industry.

‘KINTEX 1(the 1st venue)’ was opened back in April 2005 with the total indoor exhibition area 53,541sqm comprised of 5 exhibition halls. The venue serves as a wonderful place to stage the shows of heavy and large exhibits or various types of events and meetings. It also has 23 dividable meeting and conference rooms including a multi-functional grand-ballroom for 2,000 people.

With the opening of ‘KINTEX 2(the 2nd venue)’ in September 2011, KINTEX is luring lots of world-scale international exhibitions, conferences and events with additional 54,508sqm, comprised with another 5 exhibition halls, and 17 dividable meeting and conference rooms.

The role of KINTEX is to serve as a trade marketing business venue for both leading local and oversea companies by attracting and developing world class tradeshows and conventions through its global and domestic marketing activities.
