On the 28th of April, The Indian Chamber of Commerce in Korea together with Jupiter Law Partners and Yulchon LLC hosted a webinar on the topic of “Customs Procedures and Exporters’ Credit Recovery in India.” This webinar was emceed by Mr. Daniel Yi from Yulchon LLC. There were two speakers Mr. Jagvir Singh, Partner and Mr. Rupender Sinhmar, Counsel from the Jupiter Law Partners. The first part of the webinar was presented by Mr. Rupender Sinhmar about customs procedures in India. He covered detail information about the recent trend of the customs procedures and explained about the how this Certificate of Origin document dealt in the custom procedure. Secondly, Mr. Jagvir Singh presented about ‘Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code’. In his presentation, he covered about corporate insolvency resolution process.

Overall, this webinar was an informative session for the Korean companies to give knowledge about the Indian custom procedures and how the corporate insolvency resolution process can offer benefits to Korean companies when they enter to the Indian market.
