Micromax co-founder Sharma plans to bring e-motorcycle

Rahul Sharma had tasted luck as one of the 5 co-founders of Micromax. However, the homegrown mobile phone corporate that was once once chased via Japanese firm Soft-Bank though a deal could by no means be materialised failed to maintain the Chinese juggernaut as it nearly crumbled within the face of stiff festival from firms comparable to Xiaomi, Vivo and Oppo. Sharma, now 40, is having a bet on the electric vehicles industry. Working on the cleanmobility area for the closing two years, Sharma  for whom this is a solo undertaking sans his Micromax companions  is ploughing nearly Rs 500 crore of his wealth into the brand new undertaking. 

The first product that the company plans to release in a few months will be an electric motorbike  with a range of 150 kms on a full rate, which intends to take on petrol-run products from standard two-wheeler biggies comparable to Hero Moto, Bajaj Auto and TVS.
