Malabar Gold & Diamonds has recorded an annual retail turnover of Rs 51,218 crore globally in fiscal 2023-24. The Kozhikode-based group said in a release that it had spent Rs 234 crore on CSR activities. The world's sixth-largest jewellery group, which operates 345 stores across 13 countries, said its retail expansion plans included overseas markets. The group, which has 21,000 employees across 26 countries, aims to increase its workforce by 7,000 people. In India, the company plans to expand its presence in Jharkhand, Goa, Assam, Tripura and J&K.
