Outgoing Indian chamber chairman wants business-friendly Korean president

Novelis will continue to increase its capability of recycling aluminum in Korea, where the company plans to build another recycling center to supply low-carbon products, according to the head of its Asia headquarters in Seoul.

The global producer of flat-rolled aluminum, which operates Asia's largest aluminum recycling center in Yeongju, North Gyeongsang Province, announced on Feb. 21 that Ulsan Aluminum, a joint venture with Japan's Kobe Steel, will start construction of the Ulsan Aluminum Recycling Center from October, aiming for full operation to start in early 2024.
