[MOU] ICCK signs MOU with Invest India

Indian Chamber of Commerce in Korea (ICCK) made a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with INVEST INDIA with effective from 9th July 2018 at the INVEST INDIA Office, New Delhi. 

The main objective of the MOU is to activate trade business between India and Korea.

                                                                                                    

Invest India, the National Investment Promotion and Facilitation Agency, is a joint Venture of the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, and State Governments of the Republic of India, and the Industry.

 

Indian Chamber of Commerce in Korea (ICCK), its mission is to serve as the nodal organization to help state & provincial governments and business in India and Korea to maximize economic and cultural opportunities. As a representative of Commerce & Industry, ICCK serves as the first port of call for the broader business community and works with governments to raise awareness on sector-specific policy issues. ICCK assists in building consensus on bilateral trade, commerce, and investment issues. Finally, ICCK’s goal is to foster good corporate citizenship to benefit communities and environment in which our members do business.

 

Firstly, ICCK and INVEST INDIA act as a bridge between two countries for the purpose of supporting and developing investment cooperation, the Participants shall take all necessary measure within their competence and scope of powers, pursuant to their national legislation(s) and any other requirements binding on the Participants.

 

ICCK and INVEST INDIA have the common objective of facilitating Korean investments in India & Vice Versa by providing practical investment information to enterprises.

 

Also have determined that the promotion of foreign direct investment opportunities and the support of companies pursuing those opportunities contribute positively to economic growth.
