LG launches its flagship V20 smartphone in India for Rs 54,999

LG India today launched its top of the line flagship smartphone, the LG V20 in India. Priced at Rs 54,999, the V20 comes with Bang & Olufsen Play earphones.

 

Weighing 174 grams, the LG V20 is just 7.6mm slim and is the first smartphone to come with the latest Android 7.0 OS. Hardware specifications include a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage and a 3,200mAh battery.

 

It has a 5.7-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels along with a secondary 2.1-inch display with a resolution of 1040 x 160 pixels. The phone is MIL-STD-810G certified – it can withstand drops from 4-feet.

Other features include dual SIM slot, microSD slot for storage expansion (up to 256GB card supported), dual band WiFi ac, WiFi direct, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC, IR port, USB Type-c, fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, light sensor, magnetometer, proximity sensor, gyroscope and quick charge support.

 

For camera enthusiasts, the LG V20 features a dual camera setup – 16MP sensor with f1.8 aperture plus secondary 8MP sensor with f2.4 aperture coupled with laser autofocus, optical image stabilization, and a led flash.

 

On the front is a wide-angle 5MP camera with an f1.9 aperture for superior low-light selfies. LG has also integrated a 32-bit Hi-Fi quad DAC audio amplifier on the handset for enhanced audio output.

 

The phone will be available on e-commerce websites as well as brick and mortar stores from 6th December 2016 in Titan, Silver and Pink colours.
